Oh bravo! You cracked my little code. I love codes you see - Hubert doesn't have much time for them, but I specifically requested he write his Christmas card in the Nutcracker code.

Hubert has been quite down on his luck for some time. His apothecary shop isn't doing so well - between you and me, he gives far too much away to the poor and needy.

An honorable attitude of course! But Stinch wasn't happy. Stinch, being the landlord, wanted to sell the shop so he'd been pushing Hubert out for some time.

Poor Hubert, that's his whole life in that shop.
